What is considered off season in Key West Florida ?
While, I think it is true that maybe some people avoid going to Key West during Hurricane Season, I don’t think it really keeps people away. I think maybe less people go to Key West when it is colder down there (Nov-Jan). I also think since the cruise ships go thru there now, it has become much busier. It might be easier to say most people go to Key West during those Spring/Summer months, with college breaks, end of school yea…etc. March-July. My first trip there was in May, it was fun–lots of people. Also a spontaneous trip down there in June proved hard to find a room. Got married there in July, and it is definitely busy. Mini-Lobster Season is a big draw down there, starts at the end of July thru beginning of August. Fantasyfest in Oct is a busy busy time. Go here, ask a local. http://www.tripsmarter.
