What is Content Distribution with respect to ScreenScape and Group Licensing?
Content Distribution describes the ability of a Group Manager to distribute content (widgets, logos, etc.) to group member accounts. Content that is distributed automatically appears in the playlists of group members. Distributed content can only be edited or removed by a group manager. If you are a Group Manager, selecting the Group check box when creating a new widget or adding a logo, will distribute selected content to members of your group. You can exempt members of your group from the distribution of specific content, by using the advanced features provided to you. If the Group box is selected you will notice you are able to click on a link labeled advanced. Clicking the advanced link will load the Widget Group Settings tool. Within the Group Settings tool you will have the option to distribute content to your entire goup or only to certain members in your network. By default, Distribute this widget to: All is selected.
