What is cradle cap and what should I use to purify the scalp?
Cradle Cap is flaky, dry skin that coats and covers part of or the entire scalp and is the result of an excessive secretion of sebum and the proliferation of the micro-organism Malassezia Furfer. It generally does not cause discomfort to your baby. Mustela Foam Shampoo for Newborns is recommended for mild to moderate Cradle Cap. It is an extremely mild and tearless with gentle exfoliating properties. For more severe cases of Cradle Cap, we recommend our Stelaker product. Applying this cream before bedtime and washing off in the morning with the Foam Shampoo is our best regime for clearing Cradle Cap.
