TOP Dichroic means two colors due to the mercurial nature of using precious metals with glass. It is a special crafted glass that reflects and transmits two different colors. Glass is coated & textured thinly using precious metals & earth elements such as gold, copper, silver, titanium, chromium, or aluminum. It is extremely difficult to capture colors exactly and there can be a range of up to 30% from one value to another. Dichroic glass is also difficult to photograph well as the colors tend to change in different light and angles. You will probably notice this with the lighter colored pieces, such as light lavender & white.  more
