What is Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) technology?

0

Dissolved air flotation (DAF) has been used to treat water for more than 80 years, primarily in Europe. Some of the first systems installed in Scandinavia in the 1920s are still operating today. Using ordinary air under pressure, the DAF method injects microscopic bubbles into the water being treated. The air bubbles bond with parasitic and organic matter in the water. They make the particles light, causing them float to the surface. They are then skimmed away. Back to Top.
