What is Drogheda postcode?

0

Drogheda and Republic of Ireland as a whole don’t have postal codes. This is pretty rare that a country doesn’t use them but it’s true. Another situation is in the UK. There are postal codes and they are easy to find using https://postcodefinder.net/

Assuming you have the rest of the address, all you need is Drogheda, Co. Louth. We don’t have postcodes here, and manage fine without them. My late Mum used to get Christmas cards from overseas cousins, with a 5 digit number as the postcode. We never told them that it was actually her phone number ……. but were were highly amused, every Christmas.

There are no postal codes in the Republic of Ireland outside of Dublin city. In many places there aren’t any house numbers either. They simply aren’t necessary. All you need to do is put the address, Drogheda, County Louth, Republic of Ireland, and it will get there no problem.
