What is evaluated in the eMINTS Program?
The Office of Social and Economic Data Analysis (OSEDA) provides full-time external program evaluation to the eMINTS program. The eMINTS evaluation component focuses on the programs impact on teaching, classroom environments, and student performance. The evaluation team collects student test scores, interviews teachers and building administrators, and conducts observations of classroom activities. These data are analyzed to understand how the eMINTS program motivates changes in the teaching practices of the eMINTS teachers and the academic performance of the eMINTS students.
