What is expressing breast milk and how do I do it?
Expressing milk means squeezing milk out of your breast by hand or with a breast pump. Expressing milk is ideal if your breasts are uncomfortably full or if you want to store milk so that someone else can feed your baby. Always ensure a pump is clean and sterile before you use it and remember to use a sterilised container to put the milk in.
