What is faster between a Lexus SC400 and a Chevrolet Camaro Z-28?
Curious and I can’t find the answer. A: I can answer this from experience as a friend had a Z28 w/ the corvette package 6 speed manual. I was in a 98′ GS400 which is the same engine as the SC400. 0-50, the Camaro had me down n out, by almost 2 car lengths. I was in a Lexus after all, they are not meant to snap your neck off. 50-75mph, I sat beside him waving to him. 75-100mph, He was starring at my rear quarter panel, 100+ it was nothing but the Lexus pulling away, even still pulling at 145mph. If you track down the stats on both cars, and line them up, they are almost 100% identical. Just gearing is different for most part and the Lexus will normally handle the curves better, as it does have 16 some computers controlling the suspension, lean, yaw, etc. Basic city driving, Camaro will win, once moving, freeway or anywhere else, the Lexus will always be ahead.
