What is Fibre Optic Lighting?
Fibre optic lighting (or fiber optic lighting) is a light which is connected to its own individual light source (illuminator). It serves two distinct purposes: 1. To light. this may seem obvious, but fibre optic lighting’s first use is to light up spaces. It is a great method to do so because it does not use a harmful UV light, instead it uses a soft white light. This means that it does not get hot, nor does it fade or damage like other lights do. It is a very safe light. It is even safe in wet or damp conditions. 2. To decorate. Most people would consider this a completely different type of light altogether, but this type of lighting is also used to decorate. These are usually tabletop, chandelier, or free standing lights or lamps with optic strands. These strands usually are lit with LEDs which have the ability to change color.
