What is file management all about?
File management is the ordering and organization of the audio files your project uses. Good file management is when all the needed files to open the project are stored within one folder. So if you moved the project folder to another location, say a friends computer, then it would still open properly and all the audio files would be present and not magically disappear. Most sequencers do this automatically, see cubase project folder screenshot below.
