What is Final Billing Offer (FBO)?
All 3 clubs may offer a Final Billing Offer to SOME members. You usually have to ask the CSR if your membership is eligible for that program. Under FBO they charge you one more monthly fee and then don’t charge any more monthly fees for the next 12 months (the membership period resets for 12 months from the date of the FBO). The mail-in rebates are still valid so that makes the FBO really a good deal. The one down side is the CSR’s have been saying after the 12 month period ends that your membership would be terminated. I kind of think they wll change that policy as it makes no sense to give an incentive to stay in and then to dump the customer. But then again the whole gift card program makes no business sense (except to us – the members) so who knows what is going on in their minds.
