Our soap starts off as coconut and palm oil saponified into flakes. Then we put the soap flakes into a mixer along with the addition of essential oils, botanicals and extra almond oil. The ‘new soap’ gets extruded and sliced and shaped. French milled soaps are denser, therefore they last longer. They are also consistant, the added oils and botanicals are thoroughly amalgamated. You won’t find any free oils or clumps of botanicals in a French milled soap. www.riversoap.
