Freshmen who declare an interest in business administration will be admitted provisionally to the School of Management Business Administration track. In the first two years, students will complete the university writing requirements (ENG101 and ENG201 or ENG 102 and a humanities course), general education courses and the seven School of Management prerequisite courses. All students will go through an academic review in the second semester of the sophomore year. To remain in the School of Management and be permitted to take upper-level (300- or 400-level) School of Management courses, the student must satisfy the following requirements: • Completion of the seven prerequisite courses with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in the seven courses • Minimum overall and UB GPA of 2.0 to be considered in academic good standing with the university • Completion of a minimum of 50 credit hours Please note, there is a higher admission standard for students to remain or be admitted into the Accounting
