Unlike other ES cell qualified FBS on the market which is tested for ES cell growth and morphology, we culture ES cell lines in our FBS for up to 12 passages and then microinject the ES cells into blastocysts, obtain chimeras and then breed to germline. All of our FBS batches have passed this most stringent germline test for supporting undifferentiated ES cell growth, ensuring a successful generation of mouse models.
