Transfer the US surge of troops into Afghanistan and have them root out all of the terrorist cells in Afghanistan and try to train their national army in antiterrorism tactics so that in the long run it will pay in peace dividends and especially strengthen the border with Pakistan where most of the support is coming from in the first place. Next, strengthened peace talks with Musharraf or whoever is really running Pakistan in order to get Pakistani military support for border patrols along the Northwestern Frontier territories. What is going wrong is that the war itself is wrong. We invaded the wrong country. Iraq wasn’t our enemy, and there was little evidence of an overwhelming amount or terrist activities in Iraq. Iraq NEVER attacked us nor did they ever have the means or cpability to attack us. While we were invading them for oil, opium, and dominance, the Real terrorist built up a grew in the neighboring countries such as Afghanistan. The more we Invade and attack sovereign countries, and kill hundreds of thousands of civilians, we will continue to gain more enemies and “terrorist” groups will continue to grow, while we expand our debt and war-profiteers will continue to make more money to buy out decision makers to carry out their own corrupt foriegn policy’s agendas. While we are losing track of what’s really going on in the middle east, we CERTAINLY are losing track of what’s going on here in our own land and it’s falling and failing economy.
