What is Golden Years Management?
Golden Years Management (GYM) is a geriatric care management practice devoted to assisting elderly people, people with disabilities, and their families. After an initial assessment, GYM can provide a variety of services to a person whether they live in their own home or apartment, an assisted living or a personal care home or a nursing facility. The services we provide are: • Caring eyes and ears for the busy relative unable to help their loved one to important appointments. • Assist with activities of daily living to help a person maintain their independence — bill paying, medication management, appointment setting, grocery and/or other type of shopping, etc. • Link a person to community resources (Meals-on-Wheels, Department of Aging, Access and/or OPT, Geriatric Assessment Center, Elder law attorneys, etc.) and monitor those services to insure the person gets serviced in a timely manner. • Escort to appointments in the community or maintain contact with family and/or the facility t
