What Is Guild Builders?
Guild Builders is the Actors Guild of Parkersburg’s youth theatre program, open to fourth through ninth graders in the Mid-Ohio Valley. The mission of the group is to encourage children and young teens in all areas of the theatre arts and to endeavor to foster a life-long appreciation through the production and performance of plays and/or musicals. Our production for the 2007-2008 season will be Narnia, based on the classic story “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” by C.S. Lewis. The entire cast and crew of the show will be comprised of members of Guild Builders. The performances are scheduled for February 29, March 1, 7, 8, and 9, 2008 on the Actors Guild main stage. The Guild Builders staff is preparing for the eleventh season’s program, which will begin on September 8, 2007 and continue through March 15, 2008.
