IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE HARMONIZED SALES TAX IN ONTARIO AND BRITISH COLUMBIA Ontario,Newfoundland, New Brunswick IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT THE NEW HARMONIZED SALES TAX Effective July 1, 2010, the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) will come into effect in Ontario. The HST will replace the current GST and PST lines on your invoice and be applied to taxable services and products at a rate of 13%.
