What is HealthVault?
Microsoft HealthVault is a new personal health platform that lets you collect, store, and share health information online. With HealthVault, you control your own health records so that you can privately share your health information with family, friends, and healthcare professionals. You also have access to online health management tools. You can store health information for several people (such as your family and even your pets) in one HealthVault account. Each person’s information is stored in an individual health record and accessed separately. You can choose to share health information with: • other people (such as your doctor or personal trainer) • programs that can add data to your health records and use that data to help you manage your family’s health Sharing your health information with people and programs can help you meet your health-related goals.
