Hephaestus (in Greek mythology) was the son of Zeus and Hera. Hephaestus was ugly but he was very skillful in smith’s trade. This ancient Greek god was halting, and his mother Hera throw him after she born the little child. But he escape and when is young man he married with Aphrodite the most beautiful goddess. I don’t know what is Hephaestus significance in world literature, but I think that all, gods and human beings, ugly or very beautiful, were made for a purpose by God. We look first at the beauty of a man or a woman, but the inside of their soul maybe reveal more beauty. And nobody find the light at the first view.
