HSA’s goal in sponsoring the recreational and travel soccer programs is to provide children in Hudson the opportunity to play and learn the game of soccer in a fun-filled environment. HSA promotes soccer because its members believe that playing soccer benefits children in many ways. It gives children the opportunity to make new friends, learn about teamwork, and develop the bonds that teammates often form. Playing soccer provides children the chance to develop leadership skills and to learn to compete fairly and graciously.
