Usually, an estimate includes shingles, labor, disposal fee, replacement of metal flashing around the walls and chimney, replacement of flanges around the plumbing pipes, replacement of vents from exhausts, and metal drip edge. Wood repair is typically not included. This is because it is hard to determine if and how much wood may be bad on a given roof, until the old roof is removed.
