Two different questions will be on the Tuesday, February 19, 2008, Spring Primary ballot for the Kenosha Unified School District. Voters of the City of Kenosha, Village of Pleasant Prairie, and Town of Somers will have the opportunity to vote “yes” or “no” on each of these two questions separately. The exact language of each question as it will appear on the ballot is on the last page of this document. Question #1 requests approval of a bond referendum to expand and renovate Indian Trail Academy to serve as a third boundary high school for approximately 1,500 additional students in grades 9-12. ITA will also continue to house approximately 1,200 Academy program students in addition to the new boundary students. The total project cost of Question #1 will not exceed $52,500,000. Question #2 requests approval of a tax rate referendum to exceed the revenue limit by $2,427,000 per year to help the District pay for additional operating costs associated with expanding and renovating Indian Tr
