What is Ionic Colloidal Silver?
The term ionic is a relatively new buzz word in the health industry as a whole. Some manufacturers have jumped on the band wagon and are claiming that their product formula is not only new and improved but they throw in the word ionic as well. This gets pretty confusing for the consumer. Firstly if its new it cant be improved and if its improved how can it be new? That one is always good for a laugh. More importantly though is what exactly does the term ionic mean? Quite simply explained an ionic solution exists when one substance is dissolved into another, (the solute dissolved into the solvent). All atoms and molecules (substances) comprise of one or more electrons spinning around a central nucleus. If one or more of those electrons are removed that substance becomes an ion.
