What is Ipswich Waters trade waste management role?

0

Ipswich Water implements and manages Ipswich Water’s Trade Waste Environmental Management Plan to be compliant with Ipswich City Council’s obligations under the Environmental Protection (Water) Policy 1997. The role of our Trade Waste Section is to provide a commercially viable and customer focused system for discharge of trade waste to council’s sewerage system, while protecting the environment and public safety. Ipswich Water aims to achieve these objectives through a permit approval system with audit and monitoring programs.
