WHAT IS KINESTHETIC INTELLIGENCE?
I hear and I forget; I see and I remember; I do and I understand Being Kinesthetically Intelligent (KI) or Body Smart is about thinking and learning through touch, movement and motion as well as having physical skills. The Kinesthetic Student actually process information through body sensations. Kinesthetic Students can be smart with their whole body or they can be smart with specific parts or physical actions. Many Kinesthetic Students need to learn in a tactile, hands on environment meaning that they often struggle in the traditional classroom which relies on Spatial, Logic and Linguistic Intelligence abilities. Being Kinesthetically Intelligent means you learn and think with your body. So frequently these students use their bodies to express themselves or to solve problems or find solutions. Generally we do not use students physical skills to measure their intelligence because we believe that we think and learn with our minds. This is certainly true but Kinesthetic Students also use
