What is length of the registration period?
As with all domain name registrations done worldwide, the buyer selects the term of the registration with a maximum term of 10 years established by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, which is an organization responsible for managing the internet’s domain name system. As the expiration date approaches, the recipient receives email notifications so they have the option to renew. During checkout you can select from 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 year registration terms. You will note that the price drops significantly after the first year. Most of our customers opt for a 1-3 year registration period.
