eVirtualStudio can reduce the size of WAV files copied to the server by up to 60%. This means that project files will be published (uploaded) and downloaded in about half the time it takes to upload and download uncompressed WAV files. It also means that your projects occupy approximately half the disk space on the server as an uncompressed WAV file. The compression algorithm preserves 100% of the data in the original WAV file. The compression is therefore considered lossless as eVirtualStudio automatically restores the WAV file to its original size once the download has finished. You can select not to use compression from the options menu.
