What is macrame lace ?
The macrame lace design is first stitched on a treated tissue support. Then, the embroidered tissue passes through an oven heated to 320 F (160 C). Because of the heat, the tissue dissolves and leaves behind only the embroidered pattern. It is this particular process that gives macrame lace its unique appearance and texture.
