What is Magnetized Hematite?

0

Since raw Hematite alone cannot be permanently magnetized, “Magnetized Hematite” is a mineral composite of ground natural hematite (iron oxide) and small amounts of other natural minerals. This mineral composition, also called “Hematine,” allows the Hematite to be permanently magnetized, thus creating “Magnetized Hematite.” Most polished non-magnetic and magnetic commercial Hematite beads today are actually this Hematite composite (Hematine). Our “Magnetic Hematite” beads are also made of this Hematite composite material. They contain natural Hematite and have the same basic chemical composition — iron oxide. This composite material is much easier to form into detailed shapes, can be magnetized and still contains Hematite. Thus “Magnetized Hematite” has the benefits of natural Hematite and Magnetism.
