That is the name of the science of the class struggle, named after two pioneers – Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin. As with any science, there are also basic laws of development which are guideposts. Marx and Frederick Engels were the first to discover these guideposts, the basic laws of social development. Vladimir Lenin went on to develop the science further with discoveries of other social laws. Communists, the world over, study and add to this science through the collective struggle and experiences of the working class.
