What is meant by develop flexible working systems for all staff?
This proposal allows us to evaluate alternative working patterns for all staff. The aim is to identify new working arrangements that can meet the needs of a modern Fire and Rescue Service, to improve efficiency and effectiveness, whilst having regard for the needs of our staff. This review will incorporate new systems and those being developed on a regional and national level. Where suitable working patterns are identified they may be introduced, following consultation with relevant stakeholders.
