A young girl stands quietly amid the babble of her class mates, and she dreams of space. She, with the rest of her fifth grade science class, is standing at the edge of the school football field, watching their teacher clear the launch area fifty feet away. In the center of this area sits a small plastic and metal launch pad, and on the pad rests a gleaming white rocket, standing nearly a foot tall.The girl scrutinizes her craft from afar and hopes that all of her glue joints will hold.
