Ling: To be able to capture that 1/1000 sec of splendor in Nature and to be able to share these amazing moments with the rest of the world is the most satisfying part of this job. Nature and Wildlife never cease to amaze me time and time again. I hope that my photos will accomplish that for others too; that they too will fall in love again with the place we call, home, our Planet Earth. Do you have a favorite place and subject? Ling: I like every place that I’ve ever been to because I go there with a purpose – to photograph endangered species. However, I prefer working in colder climates. I would rather be chilled to the bones in Japan than be in the hot and humid climate in Borneo with 10kg of equipment on my back. During my trip to Hokkaido, Japan in March this year, I stood out in the cold and snow for 6-8 hours every day for 3 weeks, with temperatures plunging to as low as minus 18 Degrees Celsius.
