What is my Blackboard Username and Password?
All UO students can get a “Duck ID”, which is also used as your blackboard login username. You can login using your UO duck ID and password. For example, a student named “Jane Doe” might be assigned an account with username “jdoe37” and email address “jdoe37@uoregon.edu”. She would log in to Blackboard as “jdoe37” with her email account password. Don’t know your UO email account information? If you don’t have a Duck ID but do have a UO student ID number, you can claim your Duck ID at http://account.uoregon.edu.
Your Blackboard username is your MassBay username (most likely, the initial of your first name, followed by an underscore (shift-hyphen), and then your last name). Your initial Blackboard password is of the format fl###### where: • f = the lowercase initial of your first name • l = the lowercase initial of your last name • ###### = the last six digits of your Social Security number Note: MassBay passwords only contain letters (case sensitive) and numbers, and do not include underscores or spaces. For example, John Smith, with a Social Security number of 123-45-6789, would have the initial password of js456789. We recommend that you change this password as soon as possible because Social Security numbers are not as secure as we would wish and others may “figure out” your MassBay password and log into your accounts.
