Customer ID is the default value for the Wireless Network Name (SSID). During the initial installation, the technician should have asked you to create a unique name for your wireless network. It is case sensitive and must not exceed 32 alphanumeric characters. If the technician did not tell you the Wireless Network Name, go to Gateway Summary and then select Wireless Security. The Wireless Network Name (SSID) must be the same on each wireless device you wish to connect to your home network.
