What is needed to build or annex slabs?

There are several options taking in consideration the type of slab to be built. Covintec slab: To tie the Covintec slab joint with the Covintec wall we use the same reinforcement corner mesh used for perpendicular wall joints, and if necessary, we add reinforcement bars to the lower and/or upper part of the slab. Metal Deck slab: The expanded polystyrene must be eliminated and the two (or three) upper horizontal wires in the panel up at the slab joint must be cut. By doing this, we obtain an open space that can house a 2″ x 6″ or 2″ x 8″ beam. We repeat this procedure according to the spacing specified in the blueprint and we then install the beams and affix them using mortar mix at a 1:4 relation, following the same specifications established for Covintec walls. Once the beams are fixed in position, we them install the corrugated roof sheets on top of them before pouring the concrete following blueprint specifications.
