Non-practicing status means a member has absolutely discontinued the practice of law in New Mexico and is reflected when a member requests a status change from active to inactive. A status change form can be requested from the State Bar or www.nmbar.org. Within 30 days of a status change, the State Bar downloads the status change to the MCLE database.
