What is NOT in the kit ?

The PlayStation 2 console, analog controller (DUALSHOCK2) and the Memory Card (8M) (for PlayStation 2) are not part of the kit. You can purchase these items separately at a local high street retailer, or order them online via playstation.com depending on your location. The kit does not have an analog modem. If you are in North America and you have the commercial network adaptor sold individually for network gaming, a driver is available for the modem. Certain models of USB modem can be configured for use with Linux (for PlayStation 2).
