What is our relationship with the LGBT Caucuses, SGL SOCIAL, and other LGBTQ student organizations on campus?
The Alliance of LGBT Students is committed to working with other student groups on campus but requires an open and constructive dialogue to occur for any relationship to be successful. It is our hope that by drafting our Vision Statement for the year 2003 we can define our envisioned role more clearly and avoid working conflicts with other organizations. While each organization has activities that are similar to the activities of other organizations, each organization also has areas that the respective organizations will focus on and specialize in, or having multiple organizations would be redundant. The Alliance of LGBT Students appreciates constructive dialogue, and any concerns can be sent to alliance@msu.edu. To continue an open dialogue between LGBT student organizations on campus, the Alliance of LGBT Students supports the continuation of LGBT leadership meetings.
