There are numerous types of moving supplies used to protect and organize a mover’s belongings. Delicate items such as dishes and glasses require extra care to ensure that they will make the move safely. Packing paper is one of the supplies that is best suited to protecting fragile possessions. It has essentially the same thickness and texture as newsprint, but without any ink. Most items that will be wrapped in packing paper need surface protection, insulation from vibration and shock, as well as needing to be kept still as much as possible. Packing paper meets all three of these needs exceptionally well. There are a lot of different types of moving supplies available today.  These are used to protect and organize your belongings.  Packing paper is one of these supplies.  It is used for protecting delicate items such as kitchenware and dishes so that they will make it safely to their next destination.  While packing paper has the same thickness and texture as newsprint, it doesn’t have the ink on it.

If you will be moving stemware or other types of glasses, make sure that you stuff them with paper that has been rolled up into two or three sheets of packing paper in order to truly protect them.  This paper can also be used to transport these glasses by filling the empty space around them so that nothing shifts or moves too quickly.

Most of the items that you will wrap in packing paper will need surface protection, as well as insulation from vibration and shock. These items will need to be kept still.  All of these things are possible with packing paper, which comes in sheets that measure 18 x 36 inches.  It is very economical in order to protect breakables, which is why it is used throughout the world.  Of course, there are some people who don’t want to use packing paper and thus they will choose to use newspaper instead.  This isn’t recommended though since the ink can easily transfer onto a hard surface.  So, regardless of what you plan to use the packing paper for, it is a better choice than newspaper.
