Paver fabric is a geotextile fabric that is recommended for use with all paver installations. It's primary purpose is to keep the base material from working it's way into the soil underneath, thus reducing the possibility of settling. The fabric is laid on top of the compacted soil, with as few wrinkles as possible, and turned up on the sides to cover the sides of the stone base material.
