What is Pearl Jam s connection with Dennis Rodman?
Dennis is a friend of Ed s and he has appeared at a couple shows, carrying Ed around on his shoulders and generally causing trouble. He appeared at Augusta, ME 9/26/96 and Dallas, TX 7/5/98. There are also several pictures of Dennis facial features that can be found on the cover of No Code, and on the cover of the “Hail, Hail” single. The song “Black, Red, Yellow” is widely believed to be about Dennis, and that s him you hear on the answering machine in that song. He also talks about his love for Pearl Jam in his book Bad as I Want To Be.
