Monday, 25th October 2010 is Pink Ribbon Day – a day when all Australians can come together to show their support for the many thousands of women battling breast cancer. In Australia, it is estimated that over 12,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, with more than 2,500 women tragically losing their lives to this terrible disease. Cancer Council’s Pink Ribbon Day helps raise awareness about breast cancer, as well as funds, in support of the many thousands of Australian women affected by this disease. Pink Ribbon Day products are on sale throughout October, and you can donate to Pink Ribbon Day at anytime.
