What is recess in first grade like?
Students have two recess times a day M-F. They receive a 15 mintute recess in the AM or PM depending on when their PE time is scheduled. They also get a 20 minute recess after they eat lunch. Students might stay in the cafeteria a little longer and finish their lunch before they go out for this recess. First and second graders have the same recess and lunch schedule.
