What is relation between atoms,molecules,elements and compounds.?
Atoms are what make the elements. The different atoms are the different elements. Molecules are two or more atoms put together in a bond , even if they are the same element . Like Hydrogen gas, H2 , is a molecule of hydrogen gas. Compounds are mixtures of elements. Like sodium chloride, salt, is a mixture of the element sodium and the gas chlorine.
