What is Rio Linda like?
Answer Rio Linda is very rural and yet still a suburb. Many people live on small family farms or on land that has been in their family for generations. There are also pockets of houses built before the air force base closed that are inexpensive. You won’t find big shopping areas, big box stores and massive grocery stores. However, Rio Linda has gained new attention by people looking for more land and some more suburbanites have moved further out to Rio Linda to spread out. If you’re looking for a country feel that is still 20-30 min from the big city, Rio Linda might be the place for you. Rio Linda is not a wealthy community and because of that, their schools are not the highest ranking in the area. If you have kids and you’re looking for schools, you may want to consider somewhere else.
