What is rolled ice cream?
It is ice cream made with fruit and cream. They put all the ingredients together, pour them onto a flat pan, cooled to as low as -32 degrees. Then they chop the fruit and cream as they are rolled into their signature look (see image). They are famous in Thailand and only have now begun to be a staple in the ice cream industry in the US in some areas (California and New York so far are the most well known).

Rolled icecream is almost the same as normal ice cream. The only difference is that the rolled icecream is from the begining flatted out almost like a pancake then its rolled so it becomes the rolled icecream. It is often made in the same occacions as streetfood. It is quite big in thailand but has begun to become more popular elsewhere.
