RMHC was established in memory of Ray Kroc, founder of McDonald’s. RMHC-Global is the international organization based in Oak Park, Illinois, where McDonald’s headquarters are located. RMHC-Global helps Ronald McDonald Houses by arranging contributions from national partners for all Houses and by providing financial and technical/training support. RMHC-Global licenses all RMHC programs internationally, including our local RMHC chapter. Locally, RMHC-Rio Grande Valley is the organization that owns and operates our local Ronald McDonald House. The local Ronald McDonald House is the primary program operated by RMHC-Rio Grande Valley.
